Recently, the Leading Group of Ministry of Commerce for Rectifying Bribery in Commercial Areas held a conference of working report on self-examination and self-rectification. Heads of 8 MOFCOM subordinate units such as China International E-commerce Center and Chamber of Commerce for Import and Export of Textiles reported the situation of their works on self-examination and self-rectification. Wang Hemin, member of the Leading Party Group of MOFOCM, Vice Minister of Commerce in Charge of Discipline Inspection and Vice director of the Leading Group of Ministry of Commerce for Rectifying Bribery in Commercial Areas, heard the report and confirmed the work of all unites at the previous stage and put forward specific requirements on work of the next step.
Mr. Wang Hemin conveyed the instruction spirit of CPC Central Committee Leading Group for Rectifying Bribery in Commercial Areas on earnest implementation of self-examination and self-rectification, pointed out that MOFCOM units should firmly carry out the instruction and launch the work of self-examination and self-rectification in an all-round way, not only organize the unites to fulfill self-examination and self-rectification but also examine and rectify the inspection responsibility of itself, should attach importance to the major procedures to remain high standard and severe requirements and make efforts in every procedure and step of self-examination and self-rectification work, should correctly master the policies, enhance supervision and inspection and should combine the self-examination and self-rectification work, construction of long effective system, rectification of malpractices, daily management of Chinese Government and construction of cadre groups.
Mr. Wang Hemin put forward the specific requirements on self-examination and self-rectification work at the next stage and stressed the flowing 3 tasks:
1, MOFCOM subordinate units, especially public service units and chambers of commerce with activities of dealing, should further seek after and study how to organize better the self-examination and self-rectification work of member units while doing better the work inside.
2, The Ministry should enhance the supervision and inspection.
3, The Leading Group of Ministry of Commerce for Rectifying Bribery in Commercial Areas would launch the activity of soliciting articles on construction of a socialist commercial culture.
Mr. Wang Hemin pointed out that main aim of the work was to fulfill positive education on most of units and cadres to enhance the prevention, assist them to make clear the harmfulness of commercial bribery and to strengthen the awareness of punishing commercial bribery crime.
